Talens Wasco wax crayons are widely used by children, both at school and at home. Thanks to the water-based formula, these crayons are hard enough not to break easily in children's hands, yet soft enough to transfer vibrant colours effortlessly. The paper wrappers protect hands from stains.
These vibrant pastels can be used on their own or in combination with various techniques, including gouache, watercolour, and the so-called "resist technique" with Ecoline. Add Talens Black Covering over a drawing made with Wasco crayons, and scratch the surface once the paint has dried to reveal the colours underneath! This popular technique is called the "graffito" technique. Wasco crayons are suitable for use on paper, cardboard, wood, fabric, and stone. All Wasco colours meet European toy safety standards.
