Glass vase
You simply can't go wrong with flowers for Mother's Day and gifting them with a vase you decorated yourself is even better! Clean the vase until it's grease free. Then, mix two parts Glass & Porcelain Opaque paint with 1 part Amsterdam All Acrylic pouring medium. Turn the vase upside down and start pouring! Leave the paint to dry for at least 2 days. Shibori tie-dye
Shibori is the Japanese way of dyeing textile. With shibori, the options are endless! You can use rope, elastic bands, folding techniques, marbles, and so on. In this step-by-step plan we show you three shibori techniques using elastic bands, laundry pins, binder clips and of course tie-dye paint. Have fun!

Herb garden
If your mom is into gardening or cooking, you can craft her a little herb garden. Cut planks from an old wooden pallet and assemble a crate. Paint it with Indoor & Outdoor paint and let that dry for 30 minutes. Then, paint on some labels with Blackboard paint. This way, you can write on the labels with chalk and change it again if you plant new herbs. Finally, cover the inside with root cloth and fill it with your mom's favourite herbs!

Mother's Day cards
Once you've DIYed your gift, why not also DIY the card to go along with it? Colour the card with watercolour using your mom's favourite colours. Tear some napkins with nice designs into pieces and add them to the card using decoupage. Finally, use coloured pencils for a finishing touch and it's all done! Mother's Day pillowcase
Paint a lovely message on a pillow using textile paint in your moms favourite colours. We're sure she will love it! Let the paint dry for 30 minutes and be sure to set the paint with an iron. Watch the video for the full tutorial!
