Upcycle a tray

Add a vintage look to your home décor with this upcycled tray! Upcycling old items with a fresh coat of paint is a great way to reduce waste and add some colour to your home, but what if you aren’t into that freshly painted look? In this video we show you how you can use Talens Art Creation Vintage Chalk paint and Crackle Medium to add a fun, vintage vibe to your home décor items.

Apply the Vintage Chalk paint with a soft brush or paint roller, add the crackle medium, then add a contrasting colour on top and watch the magic happen! Have fun trying this out at home!

About Talens Art Creation Vintage Chalk paint & Crackle Medium

Vintage Chalk is a trendy chalk paint with a very matt finish, highly suitable for wooden grounds and intended for interior use. Wash or sand surface and make sure it is grease free. Paint it, sand it (after 24 hours of drying) and achieve a beautiful vintage look. Apply one or two layers, depending on the desired coverage. Use a soft brush or a smooth roller to apply the paint and clean it with warm water. Stir before use. Colours can be mixed. Add Crackle Medium over top for a craquelé effect (cracks) in the paint layer!
